Zack, although your group did not get to perform due to time/absence, I have a few comments on what I have seen so far of your group's/individual rehearsal skills. In order to rehearse effectively, you must make sure you are practising your bass part individually each week - you need to be able to play the part confidently in order to rehearse it with others. Make sure you keep a copy of your tabs with you for each rehearsal so that you can practise them alone if you need to. You have the basics of the bass secure, you now need to make sure you know the songs well. As a group, you need to work more effectively and efficiently in order to make the most of your rehearsal time - in order for this to work you need to remain focused during rehearsals, and make sure you all have a target to achieve. Take all the advice you can from your bass teacher as he will tell you how you can practise and what you need to do to improve each week.
